17 - 19 November 2010
After the considerable success in 2008, as part of HTE Hi.Tech.Expo – the great International fair dedicated to innovative technologies which in 2008 registered over 14,000 visitors for 300 exhibitors coming from 14 different countries, SUPER CONDUCTORS & MAGNETS, the International Exhibition on superconductors & magnets, will be back in Milan from 25 to 27 November 2009 to showcase the best of worldwide technological solutions available in different applications: from special cables to supermagnets, from production and storage to power transmission, from research on materials to maglev transportation, from the biomedical field to space and the wide world of electronics.
The second edition of SUPER CONDUCTORS & MAGNETS will also be a unique chance to have an overall view of the most advanced research that will determine the future development of this business area. At the 2008 edition, leading researchers from important Universities and Research Centres shared knowledge and experience with important companies. During high level conferences the history of superconductivity was discussed and scenarios and prospects for future superconductivity applications outlined. Moreover, the demonstration area set up inside the pavilion also registered considerable interest.
SUPER CONDUCTORS & MAGNETS 2009 will be held alongside other exhibitions regarding perfectly complementary industrial sectors: PV TECH 2009 (Photovoltaic Industry and Technologies), PHOTONICA EXPO 2009 (Photonics, Lasers, Optics-Optoelectronics), VTE - VACUUM TECH AND COATING EXPO 2009 (Vacuum and Coating Technologies), HYDROGEN SHOW 2009 (Hydrogen and Fuel Cells), BEST - BATTERIES & ELECTRIC STORAGE TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE & EXPO (Batteries, Capacitors, and Ultracapacitors), NANO FUTURE EXPO 2009 (Nanotechnologies), FUSION TECH EXPO 2009 (Thermonuclear Fusion), VISION WORLD 2009 (Machine Vision and Identification Technologies).
SUPER CONDUCTORS & MAGNETS 2010 COMPENSATES FOR ITS GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS BY SUPPORTING RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS IN ITALY AND THE WORLD
