75 days to the event
16 - 18 November 2010

It is the classic silent revolution: it takes place in broad daylight but is not seen by many, if not in its most spectacular examples. We are speaking about the ever more growing ‘intelligence’ obtained with a combination of sensors, cameras, computers, software and electro-mechanical commands installed in vehicles and integrated in transport systems. This and more will be discussed during IV WORLD 2010, the conference organized by Artenergy Publishing, in collaboration with Updating, that will deal with topics relative to intelligent vehicles and transport, which will be held Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 November at Milan Fair Centre, Rho.
During the conference, the following subjects will be discussed in depth:
Totally automatic systems are already present in the cars that we drive now, and also on the roads that we drive along every day. Some of these systems are visible to drivers; while the majority are invisible, but all bring advantages in energy savings, environmental protection, reduction of traffic and in safety. All together they are known as “driving assistance systems” and are, in some cases, already present on mass produced cars, and even as add-ons that can be installed at any garage.
This technology and its applications have reached a level of development that needs a precise snapshot of the state-of-the-art and investigation of its economic and social aspects. IV WORLD 2010 responds precisely to this requirement. The conference programme is structured in two parts:
The two-day calendar will have, as keynote speakers, researchers and representatives of institutions foremost in the development of technologies and their applications, end users, company representatives, category associations, research centres and bodies responsible for sector standards.
The conferences, which will be held in a business-to-business style, will also have an exhibition and demonstration area dedicated to companies, institutions and research centres.
